Instructional Materials

Throughout my years as a judo instructor, my goal has always been to clearly and professionally convey my vision to my students. This vision revolves around the optimal sequence for teaching all waza (techniques), aligned with the latest dan examination requirements set by Judo Bond Nederland. To support this, we developed a comprehensive kyu/dan poster and a technique banner.

One challenge remained: every judo instructor in the Netherlands has their own unique perspective on the kyu grading system. To ensure that my instructional materials could be adopted by any dojo, we needed a flexible solution.

Working closely with my designer, we’ve achieved exactly that. Our posters and banners can now be fully customized to reflect the individual wishes, visions, and identities of each dojo. All kanji terminology remains strictly aligned with the official Kodokan standards, ensuring authenticity and clarity. However, the sequence in which you prefer to teach techniques leading up to the 1st dan can be entirely personalized. Additionally, colors and logos can be adapted to match your dojo’s unique branding.

These banners, posters, and our website mark the beginning of something extraordinary. Will your dojo join the growing community of judo schools across the Netherlands benefiting from the Judo Encyclopedia?
